The Matrix slot machine is the latest film inspired slot from Playtech, based of course on the 1999 film starring Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne. The mobile slot captures the film beautifully with the main characters from the movie featured on the games 5 reels, and it has 50 paylines. There is one main feature which is a free spins bonus with unlimited free spins and a 5x multiplier. For all the details of this brilliant new game check out the The Matrix slot review below.

The Matrix Slot The Matrix is a sci-fi blockbuster that took over the theaters at the beginning of the new millennium. The movie with Keanu Reeves produced a global excitement – in our country including – and succeeded in drawing the sympathies of a broad spectrum of audiences. Action packed few mins on the Matrix slot, one of my favourites, nice gameplay and graphics with this one. The Matrix video slot is a five reel game with 50 paylines. The game uses the standard format in which players are looking to make matches of identical symbols from left to right across their lines.
Featuring five reels and 50 paylines, The Matrix slot machine is based on the iconic 1999 film of the same name and features a host of familiar characters on its reels. Artist’s renditions of Neo, Morpheus, Trinity and Agent Smith all appear as stacked symbols alongside the lower value phone, glasses and code icons, but a short video clip from the actual film will play whenever a big win is landed using the former set.
As such, The Matrix is a hugely immersive mobile slots game that features enough call-backs to keep even the most hard-core fans satisfied. Playable from as little as £0.50 per spin across all desktop, mobile and tablet devices, the slot features a top base game jackpot of 500x players’ bet per line amount, but winnings can easily exceed that in either of the two main features or the in-reel Déjà Vu Shuffle mini-bonus.
Dealing with the smaller of the bonuses first, the Déjà Vu Shuffle feature is triggered whenever a stack of cat icons completely covers the fifth reel. When this happens, a glitch in the matrix will see the symbol stack duplicated on the first reel while all symbols in between are shuffled. Payline wins are then recalculated, with this providing players with ample opportunity to land further combinations.
The game’s main free spins features, meanwhile, are triggered by landing pill scatter symbols on reels one, three and five simultaneously. When this happens, players will be prompted to choose the red pill for Agent Smith Free Games or the blue pill for Nebuchadnezzar Free Games, both of which are capable of paying out huge wins thanks to two very different but equally lucrative in-reel modifiers.
In the Agent Smith Free Games, players will receive eight bonus games as Agent Smith symbols (the slot’s second-most valuable icon) gradually overwhelm the reels to create multiple winning combos. In the Nebuchadnezzar Free Games, however, the number of free spins is technically unlimited, with the feature only ending after six sentinel substitute wild symbols have affixed themselves to the reels.
A must-play slot for fans of the film, Playtech’s The Matrix slot offers a perfect blend of in-game footage and exciting bonus features to create an experience that is simultaneously immersive and engaging.

These functions return or set information about the individual slotsin an object.
object | An object from a formally defined class. |
name | The name of the slot. The operatortakes a fixed name, which can be unquoted if it is syntactically aname in the language. A slot name can be any non-empty string, butif the name is not made up of letters, numbers, and In the case of the |
value | A new value for the named slot. The value must bevalid for this slot in this object's class. |
check | In the replacement version of |
x | either the name of a class (as character string), or a classdefinition. If given an argument that is neither a character stringnor a class definition, |
The definition of the class specifies all slots directly andindirectly defined for that class. Each slot has a name and anassociated class. Extracting a slot returns an object from thatclass. Setting a slot first coerces the value to the specified slotand then stores it.
Unlike general attributes, slots are not partially matched, and askingfor (or trying to set) a slot with an invalid name for that classgenerates an error.
The @
extraction operator and slot
function themselves do no checking against the class definition, simply matching the name in the object itself. The replacement forms do check (except for slot
in the casecheck=FALSE
). So long as slots are set without cheating, theextracted slots will be valid.
Be aware that there are two ways to cheat, both to be avoided butwith no guarantees. The obvious way is to assign a slot withcheck=FALSE
. Also, slots in R are implemented asattributes, for the sake of some back compatibility. The currentimplementation does not prevent attributes being assigned, viaattr<-
, and such assignments are not checked forlegitimate slot names.
Note that the '@'
operators for extraction and replacement areprimitive and actually reside in the base package.
The replacement versions of '@'
and slot()
differ inthe computations done to coerce the right side of the assignment tothe declared class of the slot. Both verify that the value providedis from a subclass of the declared slot class. The slot()
version will go on to call the coerce method if there is one, ineffect doing the computation as(value, slotClass, strict = FALSE)
. The '@'
version just verifies the relation, leaving any coerce to be done later (e.g., when a relevant method isdispatched).
In most uses the result is equivalent, and the '@'
versionsaves an extra function call, but if empirical evidence shows that aconversion is needed, either call as()
before the replacementor use the replacement version of slot()
.
The '@'
operator and the slot
function extract orreplace the formally defined slots for the object.
Functions slotNames
and getSlots
return respectively thenames of the slots and the classes associated with the slots in thespecified class definition. Except for its extended interpretation ofx
(above), slotNames(x)
is just names(getSlots(x))
.
